Our Patron
Her Majesty The Queen (formerly The Duchess of Cornwall) became Coram Beanstalk’s Patron in January 2013, at the start of our 40th Anniversary.
On that day she visited St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School in Battersea, the flagship school of our ‘Get London Reading’ campaign. At the visit she met Coram Beanstalk reading helpers and read the fairy story Jack and the Beanstalk to a group of young children.
Since becoming our Patron she has helped us in many ways, including visits to schools in Somerset, Gloucestershire, Liverpool and London. She recently attended our 50th birthday celebrations in 2023 where she joined school children from Ark Byron Primary in reciting a poem with one of our author supporters, Joshua Seigal.
We are delighted to have the continued support of Her Majesty Queen Camilla as our Patron.
