If you are reading this, there’s a good chance that you already see yourself as a reader, but even the keenest reader might find it strange to read a book about reading.
That’s what Coram Beanstalk has chosen as our theme this September. Sometimes it’s helpful to step back and reflect on what, for some of us, is our favourite pastime; what do we read, how do we go about choosing books, why do we love reading? And perhaps it’s even more important for people who don’t see themselves as readers to do the same.
When you think you don’t like books, suddenly finding a story you love really sets you on the path to finding more and more, until you too become a reader, immersed in stories, firing your imagination and going on adventures.
